My childhood is filled with memories of me drawing all the time. It was something I enjoyed doing. However, as a teenager and young adult, life and responsibilities took over and in time I completely left behind my artistic passion.

There was always something missing in my life and after many years, in 2019, I started to slowly come back to art. It started with little sketches on scrap pieces of paper I used to do at work, out of boredom. Then that slowly grew to drawing different monsters and coming up with story ideas in my head. Then 2020 happened. As we all know, many people suffered and I, like so many, lost my job. Through a difficult year for the world, I tried to make the most of it. After a few months sitting at home, trying to make sense of everything, it hit me! I knew exactly what I wanted to do: LK1 Horror Series, Joni, Louie and all the creepy stories to go with it. I immediately invested in a laptop and a tablet and started creating the characters and storylines of LK1 Horror.

The beginning wasn’t easy, but that’s how it always is when learning something new. After completing my first episode, “Home Sweet Home”, I kept going back and re-doing the whole thing over and over again. I must have revised it at least six or seven times! To say that I was frustrated is an understatement. My next episode, “Bloody Moon”, was tough as well…this was revised four times! But the more I kept doing it, writing stories became easier and not long after that, something just “clicked”. When that happened I realised I finally discovered my purpose in life! Once you discover who you are, you stop operating in desperation. By the time I got to “The Boy In The Well”, everything just flowed.

I dedicate every single day to LK1 Horror and all the characters that go with it. I love what I do! If you have read any of my stories, I sincerely hope you enjoyed reading them and found them captivating…and if you did then hang tight, coz there’s plenty more to come!
