Growing up, Joni had a life anyone would envy, two loving parents and a stable home. But it didn’t last for long. His parents had, all of a sudden, become increasingly anxious and fearful. The family sold their house and started moving around, never settling in one place. The increasingly hectic lifestyle ended one night with a fateful car crash that resulted in the death of his parents.

The suspicious circumstances surrounding his parents’ deaths brought about a dark period in his life, a time he still cannot bare to share with his closest friends. As a child he loved to be surrounded by people but now, he’s reserved, cautious and sceptical of who he can trust.

Fortunately, not everything changed, he is still highly intelligent, inquisitive and determined. He will go to great lengths to get the job done, with little or no regard to the law, but always staying on the side of the morally right. Aside from his dog, Louie, he is particularly fond of cars and is highly knowledgeable in all areas of car trivia.

Joni, together with Louie and best friend Rico, spends his time solving the world’s paranormal mysteries in the hope it will eventually lead him to the biggest mystery of all…what actually happened to his parents.
